Delivery Times
We dispatch orders promptly to ensure they arrive within the estimated time frames listed below. Occasionally, delivery may be delayed due to extreme weather, failed attempted delivery (e.g. no safe place to leave or locked gate), or unexpected courier delays. Please note these are to be followed up directly with the nominated courier using your tracking details. If you select ‘Deliver order ASAP’, we may sometimes deliver earlier than estimated.
Volume Orders & Deliveries
For orders of 10 or more hampers to the same destination, please contact us for a quote, as discounts may apply. Bulk or customised orders of 3+ may require additional lead time for preparation. For volume orders to multiple destinations, please use our Bulk Ordering Form for a streamlined process.
Courier Carriers
Gold Coast deliveries are hand-delivered by our staff or our trusted local courier, Deliversure, ensuring your gifts arrive in perfect condition with no melted chocolates, damaged items, or compromised presentation. Our couriers will obtain either the recipient’s name or a photo where the gift has been left if no one is home (available on request by email). Gifts are only left if deemed safe to do so (e.g. shaded and out of street view). If it is unsafe to leave, the gift will be returned for collection or re-delivery with you as the customer.
For regional Gold Coast and Australia-wide deliveries, we use Aramex Couriers and, at times, Australia Post (for regional and P.O. Box deliveries). Tracking emails will be sent to the billing address provided once booked.
Special Instructions for Courier
At checkout, you can add delivery instructions (e.g. “Deliver on Tuesday August 5th for Birthday” or “Leave behind pot plant at front door if not home”). While special requests are printed on the shipping label, couriers fulfill them at their discretion and cannot guarantee specific timing or placement instructions.
If No One Is Home
Hampers are labelled as ‘Authority to Leave’ items. If the recipient is unavailable, the courier will attempt to leave the gift with someone else at the address or in a safe place. If no suitable location is available, the courier will keep the gift onboard and contact will be made to arrange re-delivery. In some cases, a card will be left advising the recipient how to collect their gift.
Incorrect Delivery Address
If an incorrect delivery address is provided, Gift Box Gallery is not liable for non-delivery. Please include full address details including unit numbers, building names, estate locations (if applicable), street number, and correct postcode to avoid delays.
Sending to a Workplace vs Home
Please ensure the delivery address is appropriate for Monday–Friday business hours. Delivering to a workplace is often recommended. If sending to a home, include clear instructions on how couriers can access the property and leave the gift safely if the recipient is unavailable.
Courier Terms & Conditions
Gift Box Gallery uses reliable courier partners with clear terms and conditions. Once hampers leave our premises, queries or changes must be addressed with the courier directly using your tracking number. We make every effort to deliver on the requested date, but cannot guarantee this due to external courier processes.
We ensure hampers leave us safely packed and in excellent condition. However, Gift Box Gallery is not liable for delays or losses once couriers record an item as ‘successfully delivered.’
