Bio fill is biodegradable or compostable packing material which we at Gift Box Gallery use to pack up our hampers and gift boxes not only for presentation but also to cushion and protect our special items during shipping and storage. Unlike conventional packing peanuts or bubble wrap, which are typically made from petrochemicals and can take hundreds of years to decompose, bio fill materials are created from natural, renewable sources that break down more quickly and safely.

Shredded Paper

Biodegradability: Unlike many traditional packing materials, shredded paper is biodegradable. When disposed of, it breaks down naturally over time without leaving harmful residues. This characteristic makes it an environmentally friendly alternative to non-biodegradable packing materials.

Enviro Bubble Wrap

Enviro bubble wrap is designed to provide the same level of protection as traditional bubble wrap but with a focus on reducing environmental impact. It’s made from materials that are either recyclable, biodegradable, or compostable, offering a greener alternative for packaging. At Gift Box Gallery, we choose to use enviro bubble wrap over traditional and cheaper bubble wrap options for our packaging to pack and send our fragile items as we become more eco-conscious.

Enviro Fragile Tape

We are beginning to implement Enviro fragile tape which is a new product to the market and is designed to provide the same level of security as traditional fragile or packing tape but is made with environmentally friendly materials. This type of tape is used to seal boxes and indicate that the contents are delicate, ensuring that packages are handled with care during transit.

Reusable Containers and Boxes

Our gifts are often supplied in reusable packaging options including hamper trays, baskets and boxes as not only does it helps minimize environmental impact but also adds a touch of thoughtfulness and practicality to the gifting experience.
